Initiated as PCBA 22 years ago, Faculty of Management Studies has come a long way to attain the status of one of the best management faculties in the country. Alongside introducing a number of Ph.D. programs, the faculty is offering specialized MS programs in four major functional areas of business including management, marketing, finance and operations & supply chain management.

Striving to meet international standards, we have restructured our BBA & MBA programs by introducing diversified market-oriented majors.
Secondly, UCP-EMBA endeavors to develop proactive and inventive business leaders for tomorrow where they learn as much from their fellow classmates as from the academically and professionally qualified world-class faculty. Our international linkages with prominent business schools have helped us stay at par with global academic standards.

LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES at University of Central Punjab

    • Administers and provides leadership within the University of Central Punjab on all Teaching and Learning Projects, research and industry collaborations, new academic programs, and financial affairs.
    • Provides vision and dynamic leadership to the Faculty of Management studies (UCP Business School and UCP School of Accounting and Finance) At University of Central Punjab; leads and represents the academic departments within the Schools (Both) and Centers (Professional Development, English, Mathematics, Big Data )
    • Restructured the Faculty of Management studies (UCP Business School and UCP School of Accounting and Finance) mainly to integrate impactful research, to improve quality of teaching and extension with academics. A new strategic plan was developed that envisions new academic programs to respond to the needs of industry, a new vision for research and academic programs, new expectations for faculty and students.
    • Research thematic groups were created to develop a new vision for research in both schools to fulfill the requirements of Higher Education Commission; hired new research faculty to develop research programs and to achieve KPIs. Faculty productivity goals and standards were developed; the new standards emphasize scholarship, creativity, securing external grant funds, publications, and excellence in teaching.
    • Responsible for overseeing Executive training center
    • Plays leadership role in policy development for graduate and postgraduate education, reviewing new programs, and fostering interdisciplinary programs in collaboration with faculty and higher Education Commission.
    • Works closely with the academic departments and coordinates all aspects of graduate education and research including: admissions, programs of study, comprehensive examinations, thesis/dissertation research quality control, implementing assistantships, scholarships, and fellowship programs, appointment of graduate faculty, and curricula development and scheduling of graduate courses.
    • Successfully implemented a robust Strategic Plan and now we are at final stage of evaluation along with tangible outputs and presentable evidences.
    • Leading initiatives in Pakistan Higher Education that foster pedagogic development and embedded new learning technologies (e:g; Moodle, Blackboard & MooCs enabling environment).
    • Working towards NBEAC and SAQS accreditation as I have 6 year experience and led teams for Triple Accreditation of Business Schools (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS)
