Nadeem joined AUT University in February 2017 as Lecturer in Accounting. He completed his Ph.D. from Lincoln University in just 2.5 years. His doctoral Thesis investigated the efficiency of Intellectual Capital and its link with firm performance in Developed, Emerging and Frontier markets of the World. As a result of his research, Nadeem proposed a new model to measure the efficiency of intellectual capital. He then tested that model on ten developed and emerging markets, and produced more consistent results, compared to previous studies in the literature.
Nadeem brings with him more than five years of teaching experience, including at Lincoln University and University of Central Punjab, Pakistan, along with industry experience as assistant accounts & finance manager.
Nadeem has presented his research work in international conferences such as European conference on Intellectual Capital (ECIC), Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) and has published in ranked journals including, Journal of Cleaner Production, Australian Accounting Review and Pacific Accounting Review
